Brazil/Italy - Tropical Sounds

Selton is a Italo-Brazilian band based in Milan. The band started in Barcelona where a group of friends decided to play Beatles songs at Park Güell. Discovered by an MTV producer, they later moved to Milan, where they began their recording career.

They blend Brazilian Tropicalia with Italian indie pop and their songs are all very collaborative and host artists like the American artist Arto Lindsay, the Brazilian rapper Emicida, the Brazilian divo Ney Matogrosso, the Italian singer songwriter Marco Castello among many others. This collaborative way of work makes them one of the most interesting bands in the Italian music scene. The band have been invited to perform on stages like Sziget Festival, Unite with Tomorrowland, Home Festival, Jova Beach Party, Koala Festival in Brazil and supported artists like: Jungle, Devendra Banhart, Alt-J, Mano Chao and many others.

Recently the band went to London to record their new album at Damon Albarn’s Studio. They teamed up with the producer Ricky Damian (a grammy winner with Bruno Mars) to create their new album GRINGO Vol.1 (released in March 2024) and GRINGO Vol.2 (to be released Sept 2025) with Universal Music Italy.
